Standard Warranty Coverage
Russ Environmental guarantees that all products manufactured or supplied are free from manufacturing defects. We will repair or replace (at our discretion) any faulty part within the warranty period, provided that:
- The product is presented for repair at an authorised Russ Environmental service centre during normal working hours.
- Repairs are carried out by authorised service agents using genuine or approved replacement parts.
Russ Environmental does not cover travel costs, penalty labour rates, or any repairs performed by unauthorised personnel. Additionally, we are not responsible for the suitability of the truck, chassis, transmission, or other equipment the product is mounted on.
Warranty Applicability
This warranty applies to Russ Environmental-manufactured equipment and any attachments or accessories supplied and installed by us.
Warranty Period
The standard warranty covers 36 months or 6,000 service hours (whichever comes first), starting from:
- The commissioning date of the equipment, or
- 14 days after delivery, whichever occurs first.
If the equipment operates beyond the standard daily usage (one shift of up to 10 hours per day), Russ Environmental reserves the right to adjust the warranty period on a pro-rata basis.
Warranty Cancellation
Warranty coverage will be voided if:
- Modifications are made without prior approval from Russ Environmental.
- Repairs are not performed by an authorised Russ Environmental service agent.
- Non-approved parts are used in repairs.
- Pressure settings exceed manufacturer specifications.
- Ownership is transferred from the original purchaser.
Warranty Exclusions
The following are not covered under this warranty:
- Consumables such as hydraulic oil, grease, filters, and routine maintenance items.
- Damage due to accidents, mishandling, improper maintenance, or misuse beyond intended applications.
- Faults arising from incorrect installation (if not installed by Russ Environmental).
- Wear items such as bearings, seals, bushes, pins, and control linkages due to normal operation or poor maintenance.
- Costs incurred by the claimant, including loss of earnings, travel, accommodation, secondary damages, or personal/property injury caused by continued use after failure.
Manufacturer Warranty Policy
In some cases, a principal manufacturer’s warranty may replace this document. If applicable, a copy of the manufacturer’s warranty will be attached.
